Random Video of the Day

For Christmas we all want the material things and we also want material things for other people. But these OFWs are only asking for them to spend their Christmas with their families back home (Philippines). Coca Cola launched their “The OFW Project” campaign where they helped three Filipinos working abroad to be reunited with their families. These people have spent 5-11 years in their respective countries working without going back to the Philippines once. Imagine the loneliness they must feel. Below tells more of their story.

Very tearjerking. We should be feeling fortunate to spend our time with our families while others struggle to spend that one special occasion with their loved ones.

Curecards

After months of telling friends that I’ll be trading Curecards with them, I’ve finally gave away some and got theirs in return. :D Sadly, less than half of what I’ve cosplayed ever since I’ve started I deem as Curecard worthy (the “worthy” ones aren’t that good to be honest I just picked out the most decent looking photo of me). As much as I wanted to have all of the designs I did to come out before Cosplay Mania 2011, I only manage to come up with 3 from my 6 designs. OTL

If you’re Cure-ious (I’M SORRY!!) what I gave away, here they are:

Don’t they look horrible? LOL!! A funny thing came to me when I saw the cards: Although by a longshot, I thought that the Alto one would be the first of my designs to run out, but people seem to have a liking to the gheyest photo from the three. OTL OTL OTL

The rest of the three designs are ready to be printed for the next batch, but one of them still lacks some more tweaking, and they’re all in landscape layout.

I tend to get repititive with my designs. LOL! I’m thinking of reprinting my first batch of cards together with the second batch, this time with double sided designs. Right now I’m thinking what to put on the other side. What do you guys think?

Using a Furoshiki

Furoshiki is quite simply a a multipurpose cloth. Anyone can have it as a gift wrap, a grocery bag or just generally a decoration. But it comes with little surprise how the Japanese can use it as a wrapping cloth to anything that fits its size. Don’t want to look too simple? That really isn’t a problem since what is a decoration for when the decoration itself doesn’t have variety? Extensive use of the furoshiki helps much with saving the environment, as it is not disposable. Being multipurpose, a furoshiki is easily a resourceful thing to have by anyone. Heck, you can even keep it in your pocket then bring it out when suddenly you need a bag for other stuff.

The usage of the furoshiki is related so much to origamis, since what makes the furoshiki a bag, is by how it is folded. Due to its simplicity and usefulness, furoshikis are still being used today, noting that it has been around since even before the feudal wars in Japan.

Being a Tsundere

So yesterday was the day I learned that there’s no escape when people label you as a tsundere. You just don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to agree. LOL! The funniest thing happened when I learned it the hard way.

Tsundere

First instance of selp pwning my self.People getting a sniff from my status update.

For the non-Tagalog speaking readers:

- “Bwiset. +1 tuloy. FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!” (Dammit! Now, it’s +1. FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!)

- “At baket? Kelan ako nagpakita ng tsundereng ugali? Hm?” (And why?! When did I show of me being tsundere? Hm?)

See what I mean? You’ll just make an “own goal” on yourself. Then one of the threads I’m tagged in got derailed to me being such an archetype.

Really funny stuff.

J-j-just because I blogged about d-d-doesn’t mean I want this to happen to you…b-b-baka!

Don’t Be A Bad B*****

Yeah, you can keep telling yourself you’re raising the bar of goodness by being a rude ass bitch. Let Luan explain it…

Yo, gentlemen, this doesn’t excuse you for being a pain in the ass too.
